Did you watch American Idol last night?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

I have to admit I love that show. \u00a0I was wondering how it would be this season with the new judges… and must say, I loved it! \u00a0I thought that Steven Tyler (who I never have seen) was great! \u00a0Sanj described him perfectly… he said he was “irreverent.” \u00a0He wasn’t mean and hurtful as Simon was… and yet he was funny and honest!<\/p>\n

Jo Lo… I liked her too. \u00a0She seemed real… if I can say that seeing as it is TV. \u00a0I loved her inablitlity to say no…<\/p>\n

And Randy… I always have been a fan.<\/p>\n

So… I am excited for this season. \u00a0I love love love the beginning ones with the auditions and the shamelessness of some of the people! \u00a0I was teary eyed as the last boy auditioned from New York. \u00a0Their story broke my heart. \u00a0Every one has a dream!<\/p>\n

Then I skipped the next few or watch them at random till it gets to the top 10 and then I love to watch again. \u00a0Hey, it’s on again tonight… wonder if that means there is no Grey’s? \u00a0Boo!<\/p>\n

OK… really deep stuff, I know! lol<\/p>\n

Just saying, I’m a fan still!<\/p>\n

I wrote today for \u00a0hours. \u00a0It’s coming out… the stuff that was locked away is coming out. \u00a0It feels good. \u00a0It feels like I am in a good place. \u00a0As I write and remember… I can see such growth in me. \u00a0That feels so good. \u00a0I guess time can heal wounds.<\/p>\n

I am getting old. \u00a0I just showered and was blow drying my hair since it is -15 or something Celsius. \u00a0As I was doing my hair… I noticed so much more grey hair!!! \u00a0Oh my goodness! \u00a0I wondered if it just sprouted out while I was writing! \u00a0Maybe reliving the days gone by is bad for my hair!!!<\/p>\n

Then as I sit to blog, I am realizing that the words on the screen are hard to read. \u00a0I click View and then Zoom In. \u00a0That’s a lot better! \u00a0Oh dear!<\/p>\n

I am getting old! \u00a0This is middle age, assuming I live till I am 86 years old. \u00a0I have never been too bothered by my chronological age. \u00a0Life has been good and I just have appreciated that so much.<\/p>\n

Happiness is not having everything I <\/strong>want<\/strong><\/em>… yet is having everything I <\/strong>need<\/strong><\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I Like That! \u00a0Did someone say this first? \u00a0Maybe I will be quoted someday! \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Did you know that if you have the love of someone… you are so blessed?<\/p>\n

It seems so simple. \u00a0Yet as I have been writing of my father… and the need for his love… I realized that despite all that my mom went through.. she is loved and therefore blessed.<\/p>\n

My dad… I so wonder who would come to his funeral? \u00a0What would people say?<\/p>\n

Maybe they would say that he had great kids. \u00a0Maybe that is his contribution to this world. \u00a0Us.<\/span><\/p>\n

I say this without any arrogance… it’s just that my dad didn’t have relationships with people. \u00a0He never let anyone close. \u00a0His fellow tenants may say that he made their housing beautiful. \u00a0He does the gardens around the apartment complex where he lives. \u00a0He was in the paper for this. <\/span><\/p>\n

My heart hurts for my dad and his loneliness. \u00a0I wish things could have been different for him. \u00a0Karma… “The total effect of a person’s actions and conduct during the successive phases of the person’s existence, regarded as determining the person’s destiny.” <\/em> (www.freedictionary.com)<\/span><\/p>\n

“…whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” <\/em> Galatians 6:7<\/span><\/p>\n

That’s from the Bible. \u00a0Ouch. \u00a0Makes me sit up a little straighter and think of what I am sowing right now… today. \u00a0I better make up with Sammy. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n
