Today was awesome!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Can I tell you about it? \u00a0I was going a meet and greet of sorts for all the folks that are part of the Closer to Care<\/a><\/em> <\/em><\/strong>Campaign. \u00a0I was so nervous.<\/p>\n

I got there early. \u00a0I saw people… a hockey great that is part of the team. \u00a0I wanted to go up and say, “Hey! \u00a0I’m a hockey mom 5 times over!” \u00a0I didn’t.<\/p>\n

I called Sanj. \u00a0I interrupted his patient. \u00a0“I’m scared,” I told him. \u00a0 (Have I told you I love this man?)<\/p>\n

He said something. \u00a0I don’t remember. \u00a0 I just needed to hear his voice.<\/p>\n

I went \u00a0in.<\/p>\n

Wow. \u00a0Lots of grown ups! \u00a0OK… I realize that may sound silly but I am not around grown ups every day… the working kind. \u00a0There were CEOs… MDs… Businessmen\/women… and then me.<\/p>\n

I was so taken to be part of this amazing energy.<\/p>\n

Did I mention that Mr. Hockey Great (no,\u00a0not Wayne Gretzky) shook my hand?<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the talking started… it was so amazing to be part of this group… this cause. \u00a0Bring Care to Peterborough.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s our community. \u00a0It’s our responsibility. \u00a0It’s going to be so awesome.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was so thrilled I didn’t even have a piece of the cake they had… birthday cake… (I love birthday cake)!<\/span><\/p>\n

I am working with a group of ladies to put on the<\/span><\/p>\n

Dancing with the Docs Gala.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It’s going to be an amazing night. <\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t worry, I will likely talk it to death here… so stay tuned.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am working on the auction part of the event… with a lovely lady I met today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Did I mention I am SO excited???<\/span><\/p>\n
