I am missing my husband.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It seems he has been gone a lot lately.<\/p>\n

Max vegging out!<\/p><\/div>\n

It is blustering cold outside. \u00a0Yesterday it was warm and beautiful. \u00a0Today it is -18 celcius \u00a0 \u00a0with the wind. \u00a0The wind is fierce!<\/p>\n

I am feeling restless… like we need to go out and do something. \u00a0Maybe go to the in-laws… the perk would be a free meal! \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0Maybe tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Yet, I think that the boys, especially the older ones, are relishing the down time. \u00a0They are surprisingly quiet, vegging out in various places in the house.<\/p>\n

Is vegging not a word? \u00a0It always is red after I use it… as spell check is shouting out: ERROR! \u00a0 To veg out: \u00a0To do absolutely nothing that is required. \u00a0To relax. \u00a0To give into the laziness that allows one to relax. \u00a0Vegging… I love to veg out, \u00a0especially with a book or a movie and some yummy snacks.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, I was reprimanding Josh about something, telling him to use his manners.<\/p>\n

In his exasperated tone, he said, “Do I have to use my manners all the time?” <\/em><\/p>\n

Poor child, it is a lot of work to use manner and be polite all the time!<\/p>\n

Sometimes I write things down, for my self, so that I don’t forget the cuteness of my kids… such as the other day, Max came home and mentioned that they were studying about something (I forgot what he said) and it apparently called attention to the fact that Peterborough is a predominantly white town.<\/p>\n

Max looked at me and said, “Do you know that Peterborough has mostly white people?”<\/em><\/p>\n

I laughed and said, “Max, you are only noticing that now?” <\/em><\/p>\n

He replied, “I don’t look at that kind of thing.”<\/em><\/p>\n

I love that inncence that kids have. \u00a0Don’t look at the color of a person, my sweet Max! \u00a0You have it right!<\/p>\n

Look at their heart.<\/p>\n

It’s Saturday afternoon… and we are just vegging out for the day! \u00a0I love a day with no where to be!<\/p>\n
