I feel sick to my stomach.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Is it sympathy pains? \u00a0My Max is still throwing up after every meal. \u00a0 This is week eight… Ridiculous.<\/p>\n

We are off to Sick Kids in Toronto today. \u00a0 I was hoping and praying that it would just be gone… this thing that has him throwing up. \u00a0We had such a busy weekend… and through it all Max was a trooper.<\/p>\n

Last night we went to the Mongolian Grill to celebrate Sammy’s birthday… \u00a0with a few of his friends and my brother’s family. \u00a0Max ate and then threw up. \u00a0He ate more than threw up. \u00a0He ate and then threw up.<\/p>\n

This is my Max.<\/p>\n

Resilient.<\/p>\n

I am feeling the stress of this day. \u00a0I want answers. \u00a0I want a fix. \u00a0Yet I have this fear of the unknown. \u00a0I have this fear of the dreaded IV. \u00a0I have a fear of the answers too.<\/p>\n

Last night I tossed and turned as I dreamed of taking Max to the hospital. \u00a0It was a crazy dream of mismatched bits.<\/p>\n

I am asking everyone to pray… if you don’t mind. \u00a0I won’t lie. I am scared. \u00a0I know that once I get there, to the hospital, I’ll be in a mode. \u00a0I will hold my babe’s hand as they do things to him. \u00a0I’ll be strong… and find that super strenght that comes from only above.<\/p>\n

And yet… I’ll be scared out of my mind.<\/p>\n

I asked him… “Max, did you swallow a \u00a0hockey puck?<\/em>” \u00a0He denies it.<\/p>\n

My brother and family are leaving today. \u00a0It is the first week of summer. \u00a0It’s not the way I saw summer starting. \u00a0Yet… it’s the hand that we are dealt. \u00a0So I will have to deal with this reality.<\/p>\n

Dear Jesus,<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I am coming to You, scared, tired, so exhausted for my Max. \u00a0Jesus, he has been sick a long time. \u00a0Please help us help him. \u00a0Please equip the doctors with knowledge of what is wrong with Max. \u00a0Please heal him. \u00a0Please.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Keep things calm at home while I am off.<\/strong>.. <\/em><\/p>\n

Jesus… please heal my baby!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please! I love you, Jesus. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So much.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Amen.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

And Thank You!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
