I learned just a lesson today.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

(Hair nets are not a nice look!)<\/em><\/p>\n

If God calls on you to do something, He will see you through it all.<\/p>\n

Pies… I’ve never done anything this crazy before. \u00a0Ever… and I’ve taken on some crazy projects. \u00a0Yet, obviously there was a need and calling. \u00a0God saw this project needed to be continued and that Rhema (the boys school) would\/could benefit from this fundraiser… not just this year, but for years to come.<\/p>\n

I lost a few days worth of sleep. \u00a0I was worried. \u00a0I’m not going to lie. \u00a0Was it possible to pull this off in less than a week’s time? \u00a0Who would come and help? \u00a0This is always the question. \u00a0And yet, this project could NOT be done without help, lots of help.<\/p>\n

Last night, I tossed and turned, simply because of the anxiousness of the day ahead of me. \u00a0I was just not sure. \u00a0My friend, a teacher at the school, and over all encourager in my life said, “They will come.”<\/em><\/p>\n

I walked into the kitchen this morning. \u00a0I was truly overwhelmed. \u00a0Another friend\/staff member came over to me hugged me and said, “Did any one prayer over you today?” \u00a0<\/em>Then she held me as I was struggling to fight tears of fear, likely, and prayed words to God that I couldn’t even utter myself. \u00a0This is the kind of community I am part of. \u00a0This is how my day started.<\/p>\n

You know what? \u00a0Today was phenomenal. \u00a0I wish you could have witnessed the day with me. \u00a0The ladies were so lovely… that came to help… the older ladies from days gone by who did this yearly… they came. \u00a0They gave of their time and knowledge. \u00a0I loved being with them. \u00a0It’s so much about community. \u00a0We have such an incredible one.<\/p>\n

I have feet that hurt like the dickens. \u00a0Tomorrow is another day… yet I feel excitement because now, it’s easy breezy. \u00a0We know what we are doing. \u00a0Our pies now look lovely. \u00a0(The early ones, not to pretty but no doubt delicious). \u00a0Today we made over 200 pies. \u00a0Our goal is 200 more. \u00a0(700 is not even a possibilities due to not enough apples etc. but maybe someday).<\/p>\n

If ever in doubt of what a mighty God we have… just take on a project He whispers in your ear… then watch Him work.<\/p>\n

My Friends Rock.<\/p>\n
