{"id":2806,"date":"2012-03-31T12:12:11","date_gmt":"2012-03-31T16:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/?p=2806"},"modified":"2012-04-02T08:37:29","modified_gmt":"2012-04-02T12:37:29","slug":"joshua-daniel-sukumaran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/?p=2806","title":{"rendered":"Joshua Daniel Sukumaran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>\u00a0This week my baby turned seven years old!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_0044.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2813\" title=\"DSC_0044\" src=\"http:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_0044-680x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"963\" srcset=\"http:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_0044-680x1024.jpg 680w, http:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_0044-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Of course, this child of mine looks nothing like a\u00a0seven year old.\u00a0 He is a big boy! \u00a0 \u00a0He took FOREVER to come out!\u00a0 Sammy was a 12 hour labour, pretty normal for a first child.\u00a0 Zach,\u00a0my number five son, came out like the speed of light.\u00a0\u00a0It was actually scary.\u00a0 So, when we were preparing for Josh&#8217;s arrival, everyone was sure he would be quick.\u00a0 So&#8230; everything was in place&#8230; so that I could have a safe delievry. \u00a0\u00a0 Josh had other plans.\u00a0 First, he decided to come three weeks early (this part I was thrilled with).\u00a0 He came Easter weekend that year.\u00a0 I remember being in the bed, totally thrilled that I was having this baby and ready!\u00a0 Since Zach was 2 hours, I was counting down.\u00a0 Nothing.\u00a0 I remember contracting every 5 minutes all night long!!!\u00a0 Sanj was asleep, snoring on the rocking chair.\u00a0 Every little bit he&#8217;d wake up and ask if I was ok.\u00a0 Dumb question.\u00a0 NO!!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sigh.\u00a0 At 8:30 am doctor on call finally came in and said, <em>&#8220;I heard about you.\u00a0 If we give this babe a sniff of pitocin, he&#8217;ll shoot out of there.<\/em>&#8221; Sigh.\u00a0 Sure enough, Josh shot out within a half an\u00a0hour.\u00a0 There he lay&#8230;screaming.\u00a0 I remember being so annoyed with him.\u00a0Why did he have to take so long coming out!!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since then, he has become my side kick.\u00a0 I mean, where do I begin when I speak of this child?\u00a0 He is such a contradiction in every way possible.\u00a0 He is a big boys in size and yet he is truly the youngest, the baby of the family in every sense of the word.\u00a0 He is a child that will smother you with love and yet, look out&#8230; this boy has a temper!!!\u00a0 He has no fear when it comes to being himself&#8230; in fact he can be down right rude.\u00a0 And yet he is the biggest scaredy cat (to the point that his brothers get much pleasure teasing him).\u00a0 He still loves dressing up and yet has no trouble being covered in mud.\u00a0 He loves to snuggle.\u00a0 LOVES it!\u00a0 <em>&#8220;Snuggle?&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>It&#8217;s his constant question.\u00a0 He can&#8217;t go to sleep without being wrapped up in someone (usually mine) arms.\u00a0 And yet, since he has gone into grade 1, a hug or kiss at school is too embarassing. He loves to tell me that he loves me more after I tell him I love him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I can&#8217;t imagine our family without this trouble maker.\u00a0 I love that he doesn&#8217;t let size or birth\u00a0order\u00a0dictate his actions.\u00a0 He has a name that he knows will upset Sammy and that will get him beat up&#8230; and yet he will still call Sammy this name, giggling the whole time, knowing he is going to get it!\u00a0 He has a great giggle!\u00a0 The boys love taping him on their phone&#8230; to capture that giggle.\u00a0 He loves his brothers to death.\u00a0 And they, each of them, love him back.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tonight is his party. \u00a0He is SO excited!!! \u00a0We are going to play lazer tag to feed into \u00a0his love of guns and violence. \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0I love his excitement. I just hope and pray he behaves. \u00a0Last time he had a party, if he didn&#8217;t like the gift, he didn&#8217;t hide it too well! \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I love this boy. \u00a0I am grateful for his presence in our lives. \u00a0I am honored to be called mommy by him. \u00a0Even at 2 a.m.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Happy Birthday my beautiful Joshua.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0This week my baby turned seven years old!
