What a crazy, perfect stay at home and do laundry kinda day it was! \u00a0Unfortunately for me, I didn’t have the option of laundry. \u00a0lol \u00a0It was chemo day and off my FIL and I went to Toronto\u2026 in some serious downpour! \u00a0The ride back was much more unpleasant as there was many a time I couldn’t see at all in front of me. \u00a0We made it home ok, though.<\/p>\n
Today while at the hospital, I had no attention or ability to read. \u00a0There were a lot of people\u2026 really sick, seemed even more so today. \u00a0I mean, who IS the face of cancer?\u00a0 If there was a cut-out, the scary thing is anyone of us can pop into the cut out.\u00a0 Sadly, cancer has no favorites.\u00a0 It just picks and then begins its destruction.<\/p>\n
\u00a0I saw this lady, older, with her hair shaved off. \u00a0She seemed to be a warrior – and her bald head was her battle scar. \u00a0I was thinking of how beautiful bald is. \u00a0What strength there as they walk with their naked scalp. \u00a0I saw another lady, older, white hair\u2026 just bits of hair growing back. \u00a0Beautiful! \u00a0I won’t lie, I was so tempted to ask if I could take a picture with her\u2026 ( then that voice came through, loud and clear\u2026 WWSS? You know, What Would Sanj Say)? \u00a0So I didn’t \u2026 but I won’t forget her face, as their was such strength in her eyes. \u00a0Bald is Beautiful.<\/p>\n
