{"id":663,"date":"2009-08-20T20:11:00","date_gmt":"2009-08-21T00:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/?p=663"},"modified":"2009-08-20T20:11:00","modified_gmt":"2009-08-21T00:11:00","slug":"peace-be-still","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/?p=663","title":{"rendered":"Peace Be Still!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tonight while I was at hockey camp with Zachary, I heard people mumbling about tornadoes nearby. \u00a0As we headed home, sure enough we could see ugly clouds.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Just as we pulled into the drive, the lightening put on quite a show for us. \u00a0Then the wind and rain came full force. \u00a0It was so beautiful. \u00a0I wish I could have just enjoyed it. \u00a0But as the storm became more threatening, we headed to the basement.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The boys were full of a mixture of \u00a0trepidation \u00a0and yet excitement. \u00a0Sanj was heading home from board meeting which came to a rapid close.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I love a storm. \u00a0I feel wonderment for God&#8217;s creation in the fierceness of the wind and rain.<\/div>\n<div>I think of the disciples in the boat fearing for their lives. \u00a0In all fairness, I am sure, if I was one of them&#8230; I, too, would have been scared.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I love that when life is too rough and I am worried about my own &#8220;tornado&#8221; \u00a0that I can just shout out and know that He has it all under control. \u00a0&#8220;Peace be Still!&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I love a storm. \u00a0I love the feeling of peace I get from \u00a0watching it. \u00a0It is like \u00a0watching the frustrations of life \u00a0but from a safe seat&#8230; inside my house. \u00a0Safe and Sound.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Then it all gets quiet. \u00a0 Outside has been washed clean. \u00a0The rain leaves it all freshly scented!<\/div>\n<div>Perfect.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tonight while I was at hockey camp with Zachary, I heard people mumbling about tornadoes nearby. \u00a0As we headed home, sure enough we could see ugly clouds.
