(this is my 700th blog&#8230; wahoo!)&#8230; yet I should be doing a million other things&#8230;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">sorting through the presents making sure who has what and who needs what&#8230;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">wrapping some of the presents so it isn&#8217;t an overwhelming task.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">bathrooms needs &nbsp;cleaning&#8230;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">keep up with the laundry&#8230;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">pay some bills&#8230; yuck&#8230;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">clean up the morning rush<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">put up some Christmas stuff<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yet I am blogging.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">I need to write. &nbsp;I am thinking it is just as therapeutic as my white pill.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">I started to look into writing (such as a book, magazines, etc.) for more than a hobby.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">I was so excited.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then I heard that Oprah was ending her show.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">OK&#8230; for those of you that don&#8217;t really know me&#8230; yes, I am weird and crazy.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Probably certifiably.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here&#8217;s the thing&#8230; I always dreamt of writing a book and it being on Oprah&#8217;s book list.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is\/was so tied into my dream.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">I would be on her show. &nbsp;I would be able to thank her for helping me understand the things that were happening in my life&#8230; such as the meaning of battered women, abuse etc.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">It would so awesome.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">I would take my brother.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">I would take my family.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">What would I wear?<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Weird? &nbsp;Yes&#8230; I know!!!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">But truth be told, it sort of crippled &nbsp;me.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">My editor friend told me to stop saying &#8220;I want to be a writer.&#8221;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">She said&#8230;&#8221;You already are a writer.&#8221;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yet the steps from there are overwhelming me.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Step #1 Increase the readership of my blog.<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">I admit, I don&#8217;t know how to do this.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most people don&#8217;t read my blog. &nbsp;They read me on Facebook.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">My blog (<i><b>www.sukumaranville.blogspot.com<\/b><\/i>) has a counter that isn&#8217;t working.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most don&#8217;t comment on the blog. Again the comments are usually via Facebook and email.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">So I am stuck at how do I increase readership?<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are other steps but I guess I got stuck at this one.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">As I am sitting back re-reading the <i>Tips for Reema,&nbsp;<\/i><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">I have to pause.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tip #8&#8230; Join a writers group, take a course, read books on writing,<b> b<\/b><b>ut don&#8217;t get discouraged. &nbsp;Remember, you&#8217;re already a writer- &nbsp;you don&#8217;t just WANT to write, you DO write, and you have the discipline AND interesting material AND the knack of getting your thoughts out in a logical way, all of which most would -be writers lack.<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">(Taken from<i> Tips for Reema <\/i>by Barbara K.
