What do you do on New Year’s Eve?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Do you party? \u00a0Do you have a party? \u00a0Do you have a tradition? \u00a0The last few years we have had a New Years Eve party. \u00a0The boys invite a friend or in Sammy’s case, 5 of them… for a sleepover. \u00a0There is lots of food and we just hang out…<\/p>\n

This year I was tired. \u00a0I am tired! \u00a0I wanted to boycott the party. \u00a0I was overruled! \u00a0So… I went into the craziness called the grocery stores. \u00a0You almost needed a drivers licease to navigate the traffic in there.<\/p>\n

I didn’t let myself get worked up… lamaze came in handy! \u00a0lol \u00a0I didn’t even make a list… which is something I never do.<\/p>\n

On the menu…<\/p>\n

Clam Chowder <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

(I don’t eat seafood… but my men love it… so I looked up recipes and added this and that… and I must say… it is delicious! \u00a0Don’t ask about the fat content!!!)<\/p>\n

Pumpkin Soup with Ginger<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Meatballs in Sauce<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pigs in a Blanket <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/em><\/strong>(specially requested by the boys)<\/p>\n

Shrimp<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mini Hor’dorves <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dips with Crackers<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Carrot Cake<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Cherry Cheese Cake<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course this will grow over the evening as people will be bring stuff too.<\/p>\n

My feet are killing me. \u00a0I guess I do love cooking when I am not concerned about calories and the health factor. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0Having people over means that Sanj went nuts cleaning and hanging stuff up.. Yah, my office is officially done!<\/p>\n

I hope that my men all have a great time as I am really ready for my book… \u00a0I am reading Saving Cee Cee Honeycutt <\/em>and really enjoying it.<\/p>\n

Of course once my friends come, I’ll get right into the mood of hanging with my friends.<\/p>\n
