Do you every play grown up?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Is that a weird question? \u00a0What I mean is, sometimes I feel like I am still 30 something. \u00a0Yet, in reality I am older than I feel.<\/p>\n

Friday night we played grown up.<\/p>\n

We got dressed up, drove to Toronto with friends and had dinner at this crazy posh steakhouse.<\/p>\n

Harbour\u00a0Sixty Steakhouse…<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wow, the place was nice.<\/p>\n

Everything was crazy expensive.<\/p>\n

The waiters were just ON… \u00a0they knew the skills to wait on people!<\/p>\n

The food was really yummy.<\/p>\n

There was stuff on the menu that I had no idea what it said.<\/p>\n

PAN SEARED FOIE GRAS…<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Do you know what is? A fattened duck’s liver. \u00a0($39)<\/p>\n

I didn’t have an appreciation for it but the rest of my party loved it. \u00a0They actually delighted in it.<\/p>\n

I ordered\u00a0TRUFFLE MAC AND CHEESE<\/em><\/strong> ($13) as my appetizer even though it was really a side.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mac and Cheese made with truffle oil… I didn’t even know there was such a thing. \u00a0Yes, it was yummy.<\/p>\n

Sanj and Mark were there for the steak.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

They were not disappointed.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

(Isn’t he so cute?)<\/em><\/p>\n

I am not a big meat lover… and I really have to say the steak was fantastic. ($54)<\/p>\n

Jyoti and I had fish… and it was really good.<\/p>\n

I had red snapper… de-boned. ($36)<\/p>\n

This little potpourri thingy came with my meal. \u00a0 It was my lemon… wrapped up all fancy, for me to squeeze so the seeds didn’t come through.<\/p>\n

( I didn’t figure it out till after I had opened it and squeezed the lemon, seeds and all on my fish).<\/p>\n

We had so much fun playing grown up!<\/p>\n

I was more fasincated with the prices of everything. \u00a0My little bottle of diet coke… it was little, 200 ml… was $4.95 every time… no free refills!<\/p>\n

There was a coat check person, the bathrooms were heated… I think the toilet seat too! \u00a0There were really napkins to wipe your hands… \u00a0that was my kind of bathroom! lol<\/p>\n

This was the fancy doggy bag.<\/p>\n

Can I tell you, it was such a fun night! \u00a0It was so much fun playing grown up!<\/p>\n

It was great company too.<\/p>\n

Now we are back to the land of being real grown ups.<\/p>\n

Not as fun!<\/p>\n
