What a busy day! \u00a0This was the first day of back to normal<\/em> in a long time. \u00a0First, there was the endless days of sick kiddies. \u00a0Then I got sick. \u00a0Then, there was the week before March Break… the week I did laundry non stop. \u00a0Then there was March Break. \u00a0Now I am back to the reality of life.<\/p>\n

I am playing catch up on projects… such as getting items for the auction for the Dancing with the Docs…<\/p>\n

There is catching up on house stuff.<\/p>\n

There is planning Josh’s 6th birthday celebration.<\/p>\n

There is planning my weekend away at my writer’s retreat.<\/p>\n

And there is always the laundry.<\/p>\n

Today I went to various businesses and solicited items for the auction. \u00a0Some said NO. \u00a0Some said, “We will see.” \u00a0Some actually said yes!<\/p>\n

I am so excited about one of the items, if it comes to fruition. \u00a0The CHE, the hockey camp that our boys go to, is working on getting hockey players to come for a hour boot camp. \u00a0How cool would that be to work with a real NHL player? \u00a0We are also hoping to snag some females from the Ladies Hockey Team… You know, they won gold!<\/p>\n

It is very stressful to ask… well at least for me. \u00a0I can see already that they are tuning me out … being used to give give and give… and yet… it is for a great cause… it is for our community.<\/p>\n

I want to say… “Hey, listen to me… I know I am asking.. but it is for a GREAT CAUSE!<\/em>“<\/p>\n

It will all come together. \u00a0I prayed each time I went into a place. \u00a0So… I have to believe that God is in control and will help me get it done.<\/p>\n

Today I got a phone call from one of the ladies running the writer retreat I am going to a week from this Thursday. \u00a0I am a little intimidated. \u00a0She called my blog “Cute”… not sure what that meant. \u00a0On Saturday… we are in session from 8am-9:30pm. \u00a0How will I handle that? \u00a0Usually I would sneak out and play hooky for a bit. \u00a0That would be too obvious… I am sure I will be so into it that I won’t notice the time… but just reading that send me into a bit of panic. \u00a0This class will be longer than I was in labor with Josh… just by a bit!<\/p>\n

I haven’t written in a while. \u00a0Did you miss me? \u00a0I was censoring myself.<\/p>\n

It’s all good.<\/p>\n

Some things aren’t worth losing hair over. \u00a0Some things… are really best in God’s hands. \u00a0Sometimes, it is time to move on.<\/p>\n

If you have an idea for the auction… or want to donate, please message me. \u00a0I have a few ideas that we are looking for a business or person to sponsor. \u00a0 ie… a chartered flight to Montreal or Ottawa to have dinner and go to a game.<\/p>\n
