It is baked french toast that you make the night before.  It is delicious!  When  you read the recipe, you will see why I make it only twice a year.<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<br \/>1\/2 (1 pound) loaf French bread, cut diagonally in 1 inch slices<br \/>4 eggs<br \/>1 cup milk<br \/>3\/4 cup half-and-half cream<br \/>1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br \/>1\/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon<br \/>1\/4 cup and 2 tablespoons butter<br \/>2\/3 cup brown sugar<br \/>1 tablespoon and 1-1\/2 teaspoons light corn syrup<\/p>\n<p>DIRECTIONS<br \/>Butter a 9&#215;13 inch baking dish. Arrange the slices of bread in the bottom. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over bread slices, cover, and refrigerate overnight.<br \/>The next morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar and corn syrup; heat until bubbling. Pour over bread and egg mixture.<br \/>Bake in preheated oven, uncovered, for 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>This is for 6 people or so.
