{"id":2295,"date":"2011-09-08T21:34:39","date_gmt":"2011-09-09T01:34:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/?p=2295"},"modified":"2011-09-08T21:34:39","modified_gmt":"2011-09-09T01:34:39","slug":"week-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/livinglovingbreathingboys.com\/?p=2295","title":{"rendered":"Week One&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>The first week of school is almost over.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Everyone survived. \u00a0Even me. \u00a0It&#8217;s been a good week for me. \u00a0The first day, I found myself restless, unsure of what to do with my day. \u00a0Day 2, I went to the gym, did errands, came home, puttered, then found myself taking a little nap. \u00a0Ok&#8230; it was really a 5 minute one&#8230; just to test it out&#8230; to do so because I could. \u00a0Very cool&#8230; and then I read my book, as I got dinner ready. \u00a0Soon it was pick.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Today&#8230; Day 3, I spent the whole morning at the gym. \u00a0Ok&#8230; I never saw myself ever contemplating this as something I would want to do, ever. \u00a0Yet, I, with my new gym buddy, worked out, cardio, weights a bit and then decided to stay and take the Yoga class. \u00a0This was my first Yoga class. \u00a0I really enjoyed it. \u00a0Then we spend a little bit in the steam room when we were done. \u00a0Wow. \u00a0I have to say, all my achy parts really feel good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Then I stopped by Sanj&#8217;s office, joined him for lunch, then stopped by Chapters to pick up a book(s), went to an appointment and then went and got groceries leisurely. \u00a0Grocery shopping wasn&#8217;t horrid. \u00a0I found myself relaxing as I grabbed the things I needed for supper. \u00a0Maybe the Yoga was good for me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Yoga&#8230; it&#8217;s a interesting person that can teach it&#8230; lots of interesting chatter that comes out of their mouth! lol \u00a0I learned that my shoulders are always tense. \u00a0I had to actually work at relaxing them. \u00a0It felt so good to stop holding them tensely. \u00a0I also realized that I don&#8217;t breath deeply. \u00a0You know what I mean? \u00a0I don&#8217;t stop to breath in full breaths&#8230;and exhale fully. \u00a0It was an interesting discovery. \u00a0It was work to try and change that. \u00a0Yoga&#8230; it was good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This change in my life, after having kids home with me for the last 16 years&#8230; is a huge change. \u00a0I am loving it. \u00a0I feel like hugging the moms I see in line with the screaming toddler as they check out. \u00a0I want to reassure them that it will be Ok. \u00a0I don&#8217;t though, I admit, but rather walk on by with a smug look on my face. lol<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I have given myself this week to do as I please. \u00a0Next week is a busy week filled with appointments for the boys and company coming. \u00a0The week after, I hope to start writing and working on my book.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">My surgery is schduled for the 11 of October&#8230; the day I say goodbye to my uterus&#8230; it has served me well. \u00a0 During my recovery I plan on devoting time to writing and editing&#8230; of course reading and even tv watching. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The boys are all settling in well. \u00a0The first day of school, I was in Josh&#8217;s class, saying goodbye to him and leaned over to kiss him, something he always responds to without thinking. \u00a0 Not this time. He pulled back and paused. \u00a0Ouch. \u00a0Not a baby anymore. \u00a0We high 5&#8217;d. \u00a0He told me it was OK to snuggle and kiss him at home but he didn&#8217;t want to do so in front of his friends. \u00a0 (At home he has no trouble being the baby!)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This year I only managed the 4 younger kids in my traditional Back to School shoot. \u00a0We woke up a bit late and were rushing out the door. \u00a0Sammy is in grade 11&#8230; that just seems so crazy to me! \u00a0Tyler is in grade 10! \u00a0My Jordan is graduating from Rhema this year. \u00a0Soon it will be 3 in high school and 3 left at Rhema. \u00a0Life is just going by too fast and yet some days, not fast enough.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This week&#8230; it was a good week. \u00a0Tomorrow is Friday. \u00a0I have my Good Neighbour Meeting&#8230; with a great new bunch of people added to an already fabulous bunch. \u00a0I am meeting with a friend first thing to walk. \u00a0I love that. \u00a0Usually my play dates revolve around food. \u00a0I am trying to change that, at least a bit. \u00a0I love Friday&#8230; It has always been my favourite day. \u00a0Not much on our calendar&#8230;. for the weekend. \u00a0Dinner out with friends on Saturday night, to my favourite restaurant with our Indian Posse, to hang out and to plan the next Indian Dinner. \u00a0Yes, we have two other Indian families here, so I can actually have a Indian group of friends. \u00a0The three couples.. we are taking ball room dancing. \u00a0Lord, have mercy on me. \u00a0Sammy said, &#8220;<em>Can you tape it for me?&#8221;\u00a0 <\/em>lol<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">OK&#8230; I&#8217;m rambling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Hope you and yours had a great start to the new school year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">xoxo<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">(Pictures to follow later&#8230; too lazy&#8230;)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first week of school is almost over.
