Dark. Cool. Grey. \u00a0The weather really effects my mood. \u00a0I feel like it is a perfect day to let the cool air flow in and hide under my covers, reading a book.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Don&#8217;t have that luxury anymore. \u00a0I&#8217;m a working gal. \u00a0Well, let&#8217;s face it, I didn&#8217;t really have that luxury before but it was always an option. \u00a0 It&#8217;s 8:11 am, the boys are out of the house, I&#8217;m in my pjs writing with the clock ticking. \u00a0I&#8217;m ahead of the game today for lunch so I have a little bit of time, 15 minutes to be exact, to spare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I love my job. \u00a0I love cooking, creating and feeding. \u00a0I love being appreciated for feeding unlike my boys who will often complain about what we are having. \u00a0I love doing what I do. \u00a0It makes getting up easier. \u00a0It helps to see a paycheck with my name on it. \u00a0Love that part!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As I was heading out the door this morning my phone beeps letting me know I had an email. \u00a0It was from a lady that I work with letting me know that she and some others had been let go this morning. \u00a0Business was slow, I guess. \u00a0My heart felt so heavy. \u00a0I went to in work, knowing that three folks I fed every day were not going to be there, yet as I walked in, I found out that it was 11 people that were let go. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t even know I had gotten so attached. \u00a0These are lovely folks that shared their day with me, their happinesses, their sadnesses, their likes and dislikes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I will miss them. \u00a0 I can&#8217;t help but wonder will they eat their veggies? lol Yes, I was mothering to some of them. \u00a0Some didn&#8217;t even know they liked lentils or thought something was scary until they tried it a different way. \u00a0I was always saying, <em>&#8220;Just a tiny bit&#8230;and if you don&#8217;t like it I won&#8217;t care, but try it.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sigh. \u00a0It was such a hard day. \u00a0I could never be a boss. \u00a0It just seems too hard to let people in and then have to let them out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dear Jesus, Please be with these folks as they find themselves with out work, a mortgage, bills, a family to feed&#8230; \u00a0Please guide their path and may they feel Your love and Your arms as they seek work and answers. \u00a0Thank you for the time they were in my life. \u00a0I feel so blessed to have met some of them. \u00a0May Your will be done in their lives. \u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>When someone is in your life for a\u00a0<strong>REASON<\/strong>,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>They have come to assist you through a difficulty;\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>to provide you with guidance and support;\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>They may seem like a godsend, and they are.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>They are there for the reason you need them to be.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Some people come into your life for a\u00a0<strong>SEASON<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>They may teach you something you have never done.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>LIFETIME<\/strong>\u00a0relationships teach you lifetime lessons;\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Thank you for being a part of my life,<br \/>\nwhether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2014 A poem by Brian Andrew &#8220;Drew&#8221; Chalker<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Discombobulation&#8230; that kinda sums up my feelings today! \u00a0It&#8217;s rainy, again. \u00a0Dreary.
