<\/p>\nIt’s been a crazy busy week. \u00a0And then there was tonight. \u00a0Thursday night just seems to be a repetitiously busy night. \u00a0Of course, it doesn’t help that it’s one sleep from my favorite night of the week. \u00a0Sigh. \u00a0Home. \u00a0A lot happened this week. \u00a0A lot of stress. \u00a0I hate stress. \u00a0I hate decisions that require an exhausting amount of emotional energy. \u00a0I hate things that disappoint my babes. \u00a0I hate when the reality of life becomes a reality to my babes… you know, when I can’t shelter them from hurts and disappointments.<\/p>\n

\u00a0This week I was told I’m an ALL IN OR\u00a0NOT person. \u00a0Hum… what does that mean? \u00a0I was told that I love all the way. \u00a0Not half way or with limits or boundaries. Hum… this assessment of me surprised me. \u00a0And made me question that assessment. \u00a0I suppose if I am committed, I’m in. \u00a0If you have an idea or if I am an idea and it fires me up… look out… here I come. \u00a0I’m IN.<\/p>\n
Over the years, I’ve felt that passion. I’ve given it to the boys school for many a years, to our community, to my boys, my friends and my family. \u00a0I have also been burned. \u00a0(I know, who hasn’t). \u00a0And yet sometimes it catches me off guard. \u00a0It shocks me that others don’t do Friendship the way I do. \u00a0I won’t lie…. there are a few relationships in the past years that have deeply wounded me. \u00a0Part of the hurt is not knowing what happened. \u00a0My brother, Kumar said to me, “Sometimes people to need to let go of every thing or every one in order to move forward.” \u00a0<\/em>(I’m paraphasing because I can’t remember his word for word).<\/p>\n Do you love all the way? \u00a0Are you an ALL IN kind of person? \u00a0What do you do with things that need boundaries? \u00a0How do you set them and yet still be you?<\/p>\n If you know… please tell me. \u00a0I’m all ears… and TGIF- tomorrow!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" It’s been a crazy busy week. \u00a0And then there was tonight. \u00a0Thursday night just seems to be a repetitiously busy night. \u00a0Of course, it doesn’t help that it’s one sleep from my favorite night of the week. \u00a0Sigh. \u00a0Home. \u00a0A … Continue reading
