\"528333_681837088527980_1389198516_n\"<\/a>This is the first page of my new book\u2026 I hope to write more. \u00a0I love blogging but so often I have post written that I never post because I over analyze things. \u00a0Yet I write this blog for me. \u00a0I write this blog for my boys some day or my grandkids. \u00a0Of course they may never care but if they do\u2026 it’s my gift. \u00a0So I guess another thing I hope to strive for I to continue to be true to me. \u00a0I’ve come a long ways in this. \u00a0In fact compared to me in university or high school, I’m a whole different \u00a0person. \u00a0I’ve learned to love myself. \u00a0(Wahoo\u2026 finally!) \u00a0I’ve learned a LOT about forgiveness this \u00a0year. \u00a0I’ve learned that it is really the only way to not be emotionally constipated. \u00a0 \u00a0I love this:<\/p>\n

I used to wonder how to find that peace that passeth all understanding\u2026 (remember that song) and realized I don’t need to understand it all. \u00a0I don’t need to figure out why “they” didn’t love me they way I needed or wanted\u2026. I just need to love them. \u00a0Forgive them. \u00a0And leave the rest to God. \u00a0I need to give myself permission to have peace without the other giving me permission.<\/p>\n

I used to think that happily ever after was this picture I had since I was little\u2026 where every one was happy. \u00a0Funny thing\u2026 I guess I forgot that I am not in charge of everyone’s happiness. \u00a0I wanted the table with all the family laughing and happy. \u00a0Nope\u2026 it’s not always like that. \u00a0Some people chose to not seek that happiness. \u00a0I can only be happy and enjoy the moment.<\/p>\n

I learned this past year that there is such perfection in the imperfection. \u00a0I need to embrace it.<\/p>\n

I learned that I used to be in such a hurry to grow up\u2026now I would give for those naps! lol<\/p>\n

I am so grateful for all the blessings that came with 2013. \u00a0My cup runneth over. \u00a0I am also grateful for the trials that come, for with them, I grew.<\/p>\n
