Last night Sammy came home from hockey practice with an injury.<\/p>\n

Apparently his brother, Tyler, slashed him and he hurt his arm real bad.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I spent 2 hours at the doctor’s to determine that it is a soft flesh wound. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
SO glad it was not broken. Wondering how many of these visits are in the future?<\/div>\n
I heard Tyler “bragging” to his friend that it was broken. (Sammy was trying to make him feel bad… guess that didn’t quite work).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I had a delightful morning with some of my favourite people on Good Neighbour Committee.<\/div>\n
Such a great group of ladies, with big hearts and creative minds… (of course we missed you that was absent).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Sammy was at this meeting. “Are all your meetings like this? He asked?<\/div>\n
I wasn’t sure what he was getting at. A bunch of women, chatting at once, laughing having a good time (even though we really are working). I didn’t want him to get the idea that I was slacking all day! lol<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“Do you always have this much food at your meetings? And can I come?” he asked.<\/div>\n
I had to laugh. He was more than happy to fill his belly. There is always food. <\/div>\n
Food = fellowship and fun.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Maybe this is what is missing from my other committees that I am not enjoying as much.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I am so looking forward to making the plans and ideas come to life. Nothing like seeing a goal through and knowing you are going to make a difference.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Tonight at our school is a parent night out. Again, it centers around food and fellowship. Greek food is on the night’s menu. Yum!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I am looking forward to just being with people that make my world go around. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Tomorrow I get to go to my camera class. It is 3 hours… on learning all about my new camera.<\/div>\n
I am so excited. I am also a little scared.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I didn’t sleep well last night. I ran out of my sleeping pills. I had so much on my mind. I couldn’t make it stop. It was 2:30 or so in the morning and I hear Josh. He sounds like he is going to throw up. I sit right up. I cup my hand under his mouth and out comes a thick stream of supper, I am assuming.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Talk about waking up. It is really one of the grossest things out there. Puke. Even my own kid’s makes me want to throw up.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We changed the sheets, got settled and then my minds begins to go again.<\/div>\n
What is that about? I really need to take up yoga or go back to lamaze or something.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
So, I am tired. But ready for tonight. I miss my husband. He has been so busy. It is ridiculous.<\/div>\n
I am not even going to go there. I can’t wait for spring, when he will be done his classes.<\/div>\n
But tonight, it is about us. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
There is nothing like a good babysitter. Someone that you know you can walk out and not worry. I LOVE our sitter. The boys enjoy her. And I come home to a clean, dishes done, house.<\/div>\n
Her family is going to be moving to another city soon. Not sure that will happen then. Very sad about that.<\/div>\n

OK… I am just so tired. So I am rambling. I just needed to write. Hope your weekend is a great one with some relaxation fit in.<\/div>\n
